Structure and content of course

Over the 3 terms, students will participate in daily classes of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Singing, Acting and Musical Theatre. Students will also be coached in audition techniques in preparation for their vocational auditions, covering topics such as suitability of song, dance and monologue, interview techniques, photographs and application forms. Students will also participate in a lecture programme to address issues concerning the healthy dancer/performer.

Students automatically have a free audition for Bird College’s vocational courses, however there is no guarantee that Pre-Professional Foundation Year students will gain a place on the FE or HE courses.
