During the course of an academic year, the college arranges a series of concerts, culminating in the Fairfield Hall event during July.  All groups will have the opportunity to perform in public during the year. Most concerts are held in schools or churches in the London Borough of Bexley but groups also travel further afield and concerts have been given at Rochester and Canterbury Cathedrals, the Barbican Centre, the Festival and Queen Elizabeth Halls and the Stag and Ashcroft theatres.

Other provision includes:

  • holiday music courses for children of all ages
  • the hire and purchase of musical instruments and accessories
  • regular public performances
  • examinations with nationally recognised bodies
  • professional development training for school music teachers (primary and secondary) and instrumental tutors
